Public Artist Talk: Nora Krug on “Belonging”

Join us for a powerful evening of art, history, and democratic reflection as we attend Nora Krug’s public artist talk together on March 11 at 6:00 p.m. in Sursa Hall. Krug is the award-winning author and illustrator of *Belonging: A German Reckons With History and Home* and the illustrated edition of *On Tyranny* by Timothy Snyder. Her work explores memory, responsibility, nationalism, and the political power of images — themes that feel especially urgent right now.

We encourage you to visit the exhibition at the David Owsley Museum of Art before the talk so you can experience the artwork up close and come ready with questions and reflections. The exhibit runs February 19 through June 13 (please note the museum will be closed February 28 – March 9 for Spring Break).

Let’s show up together, engage deeply, and reflect on how art helps us reckon with the past and shape the future. Meet us at Sursa Hall at 5:45 p.m. so we can sit as a group.
