This a local Indivisible event!
We will sit together in court May 21, 2026 to support Jeffrey who was attacked by Peter Afouxenides after our October 18th No Kings protest at the Hyannis Airport Rotary.
Maps – like google maps and waze – give confusing directions to District Court and often send you to superior court that is on rt 6A, the District court is in the parking lot behind the Superior Court.
Afouxenides next court appearance is in Barnstable District Court, scheduled for 9am-WE WILL MEET IN THE LOBBY BEFORE COURT OPENS at 8:55 am – we will hand out ribbons to wear in the courtroom.
Go through metal detector and find us in the lobby or check to see if we are in the courtroom on the left. We have been sitting in the front right.
We will wear green ribbons to show solidarity.
This is pretrial appearance but chances are this will be more significant.
We need to be there to show our community will NOT allow this crime to be ignored. When we show a critical mass, Afouxenides and his family, and most likely his lawyer take note.
