‼️The next big national action will be May Day, May 1st‼️
May 1st, 2026 will be a Workers Over Billionaires national day of action. Workers, students, and families will be marching, rallying, training, walking out and taking action together to demand:
1. Tax the rich so our families, not their fortunes, come first,
2. No ICE. No war. No private army serving authoritarian power.
3. Expand democracy. Hands off our vote.
Following the examples of the 2006 Day Without Immigrants, Black-led corporate campaigns that have unseated CEOs, and Minnesota’s resistance to occupation, thousands of organizations across the country are calling for a day of “No School, No Work, No Shopping” to disrupt the violent billionaire takeover of our country and to put working families first. Because when the billionaires break every rule, it’s going to take more than a rally to stop them. Together we show where real power lives in this country: with workers, not billionaires.
All Grassroots White Bear protests include a FOOD DRIVE for WBL Food Shelf so bring your non-perishable goods. You can also donate cash (or checks) by seeing any Grassroots White Bear Organizer. A QR code is also available to be scanned. Our protesters have donated over 2 tons of food since No Kings 2.0!
*Please note: A core principle behind all our events is a commitment to nonviolent action. We expect all participants to seek to de-escalate any potential confrontation
with those who disagree with our values and to act lawfully at these events. Weapons of any kind, including those legally permitted, should not be brought to events.
📢 How to Prepare for the Event:
We have signs to share. We are a family friendly protest and will be staffed with Safety Marshals for street crossings and keeping our peace.
