## Join Indivisible NEO for our next General Meeting and Teach-In on Thursday, May 14th!
In partnership with the Ohio Democracy Project, this conversation will explore what kinds of collective strategic action we can engage in to combat democratic backsliding and rising authoritarianism, from symbolic actions (like protests) to noncooperation (like strikes and boycotts) and the types of mutual aid that make those actions possible.
We will dive into how power works, especially in backsliding democracies, and be better prepared to flex our strategic action muscles.
Don’t miss what will be a lively, interactive and ACTIONable presentation.
And please note the new (and not fixed) location as we are no longer meeting at St. Paul’s in Cleveland Heights.

### About the Ohio Democracy Project:
The Ohio Democracy Project is non-partisan and pro-democracy, favoring no political party or candidate, but working for a fairer, more effective, and more inclusive political system. We use a systems-based, action research approach to assess and address emerging threats to peaceful and inclusive democracy in Ohio.
