**Across America, Let’s Make Good Trouble!**
Right now, we’re witnessing a Jim-Crow-era effort from politicians and their billionaire friends to restrict our freedoms, silence our voices, and consolidate power. But the same spirit that fueled Selma, Montgomery, and the March on Washington lives on in our unified action.
Six years after the passing of Congressman Lewis, we’re organizing an event in our local community to carry the torch, continue the legacy of John Lewis, and pass it forward to future generations.

**Join us on Saturday, July 18th, from 3:00 pm to 5:30 pm at the Wiley H Bates Legacy Center in Annapolis as we celebrate the life of John Lewis and support each other in the fight for civil rights.**
Our event begins with an inspiring short documentary on the life of John Lewis, followed by a lively conversation with local civil rights activists about meaningful actions we all can take to protect our sacred freedom to vote. Refreshments will be served.
