The next No Kings Day is coming
The next No Kings Day will be different. Join the No Kings kickoff call this Thursday, 9/10 at 8pm ET/5pm PT to learn about the national day of voter participation being planned for this October.
At this time when democracy is under attack in our nation, art is all the more important. One Million Rising Alliance at Leisure World (OMRALW) Silver Spring, MD, is hosting our first “Art For Democracy” showcase! The program will include a variety of art forms, including sculpture, canvas, fiber art, performance art (music), and so much more.
This pro-Democracy art show is free & open to the public. Come join us to view some of the many ways we can express our resistance to authoritarianism and love for our democracy.
