As tens of thousands of football fans flood into Athens for UGA home games, we will hold banners at the overpass to protest the authoritarian takeover of our country. Volunteers will hold up lightweight banners readable from the highway, with such messages as SAY NO TO ICE and TRUMP AGENDA–DESTROY AMERICA. We also wave signs where cars are backed up at nearby stoplights. So bring your protest signs for maximum eyeballs on game day! Remember, it may be hot and sunny with no shade , so plan accordingly.
