Are you wondering what’s next after No Kings? Come join the Indivisible Georgia Coalition on a webinar to learn how to take action and engage your neighbors and community! When you sign up, you will receive an email with more information and the Zoom link. We look forward to seeing you!

National days of protests are highly visible events that demonstrate how large our movement is, and they are great points of entry to bring people in among like-minded people to engage in an action that feels like we’re making progress. And now we need to continue the work—moving from mobilizing to organizing—and we are so glad to have you with us.

We will need to transcend partisanship and culture wars and root ourselves in constitutional values. This webinar will provide you with actions you can take in your community to begin building power by talking to your neighbors about issues that impact them and upcoming elections where their vote can make a huge difference. This is a low-lift way to start having conversations with people who are like-minded and begin building sustainable power.

We are all moving toward the “3.5% rule,” which has come to describe the tipping point at which public participation in nonviolent protest can bring down an oppressive or authoritarian regime. It’s important to remember the 3.5% rule is not prescriptive. This rule reflects past outcomes in historical case studies, not a rule that guarantees future results. In order to succeed, the 3.5% has to include sustained, organized, and strategic movements, not just one-day protests or social media outrage.

We have to come together to fight for our democracy like it’s the most important thing in our lives. Because it is.
