The next No Kings Day is coming
The next No Kings Day will be different. Join the No Kings kickoff call this Thursday, 9/10 at 8pm ET/5pm PT to learn about the national day of voter participation being planned for this October.
Join us as we welcome Prof. Mark Johnson, KU Law Professor, practicing attorney, and area leading expert on First Amendment and voting rights. Johnson has worked with the ACLU on a range of voter-related cases, including the case declaring proof-of-citizenship unconstitutional.
Topics will include:
What amendments will (and will NOT) be on the ballot November 3rd
The processes the amendments took to get there (or not)
How voter suppression tactics are evolving, and how we can stop them
