    ChalkWalk | Saugatuck-Fridays @ 4:30pm | Hosted by: Good Trouble Indivisible

    Create Public Awareness With Us!

Join Good Trouble Indivisible’s ChalkWalk is a creative public-awareness action using sidewalk chalk to encourage people to pause, read, think, and talk about what is happening in our country.

GTI ChalkWalks transform ordinary sidewalks into a continuing public message. As people walk through downtown Saugatuck, they stop to read, take photographs and videos, ask questions, share their thoughts, and have meaningful conversations with us.

These peaceful public-awareness actions help bring important issues out into the open—where they can be seen, considered, and discussed.

There are many ways to participate, and you do not need to be an artist or get down on the sidewalk to help.

👉 Help chalk or outline the prepared words.

👉 Hold a sign of your choosing about democracy, freedom, justice, or another current issue.

👉 Hand out Good Trouble Indivisible cards and information.

👉 Talk with passersby about current events and our work.

👉 Take photographs or video that we can share on social media and our website.

👉 Simply stand with us and help create a visible community presence.

Participants who would like to speak with the public will be given information and talking points.

Come help for the entire event or stop by for however long you can.

ChalkWalk is peaceful, lawful, protested FREE SPEECH, welcoming, and open to everyone who believes that public awareness matters—and that silence and inaction are not our only choices.

Bring a democracy sign to hold if you like. Chalk and handout materials will be provided by Good Trouble Indivisible.

We hope you will join us—and help turn our sidewalks into important conversations.
