The decision to endorse a candidate was made carefully and democratically. All members were notified by email about the process and encouraged to join the conversation regarding the decision to endorse. Candidates then participated in a screening process and were asked questions developed and agreed upon by our leadership team that reflected the values and priorities of our membership. Following that process, members that chose to participate ranked their choices and Tim Alexander emerged the clear victor with over 60% of the vote in the first round.

We encourage everyone to work on the campaign of their selected candidate and understand everyone involved with this group is not supporting Tim. For that reason, we will form a committee to support Tim that interested members can sign up for.
