You’re invited !!
As part of an initiative to help NH residents become more invested in candidates seeking elected office throughout the state, Southern NH Indivisible is hosting a series of Community Listening Sessions. Each session will feature a candidate running for office in the upcoming 2026 election, offering them a chance to reach voters in their homes.
We are very excited to announce our 10th session featuring Maura Sullivan, who is running for Congress here in New Hampshire’s First District
Maura Sullivan is a Marine Corps Iraq War veteran, Granite Stater, former senior Obama Administration official, and mother of three running for Congress in New Hampshire’s First District. She worked her way through Northwestern University on an ROTC scholarship before serving in the Marines, including a deployment to Fallujah, Iraq.
After her military service, she earned graduate degrees in business and public policy from Harvard and went on to serve as Assistant Secretary at the U.S. Department of Veterans Affairs, where she focused on improving access to health care for veterans. She later held senior roles at the Pentagon and worked in the private sector in health technology.
Maura remains active in her community through work supporting local schools and civic engagement efforts. She lives on New Hampshire’s Seacoast with her husband, a Navy Reserve officer, and their three children.
