    Regarding the event:
Charlie Berens Uniting West Wisconsin on Data Centers — Saturday, June 13, High Country, Eau Claire

Chippewa Valley Indivisible is proud to be part of a growing regional coalition taking on hyperscale data centers — one of the biggest issues facing our communities right now.

This free event brings west Wisconsin together to find answers, featuring Wisconsin comedian Charlie Berens, music, and educational presentations. As Berens has said at forums across the state: “Maybe before we decide to give our land and our water and our power, before we completely change the soul of our communities, these tech companies need to show us why we should trust them.” With 12 proposed data centers in Wisconsin and projects already making headlines in towns like Menomonie and Cassville, neighbors are asking hard questions about what these developments mean for our neighbors, our farms, our wild lands, water, and communities.
