  • D-Day “Democracy Day” Rush Hour Resistance

    D-Day, Democracy Day is coming!

Join the Jersey Shore Blue Visibility Brigade on a bridge in Neptune where we will display our messages, wave flags, wear red, white, and blue, and celebrate democracy! Stay for as little or as long as you’d like. The address and parking suggestions will be provided after you register.

At this event, we will honor the men and women who fought fascism on the beaches of Normandy by bringing that same spirit of resistance peacefully home. Across the nation, Visibility Brigades will claim one thousand overpasses, simultaneously, on one day, with one mission: to help save our country. We will honor those who gave everything in WWII, lift up FDR’s Four Freedoms, and draw a clear line between the sacrifices made on those beaches and the moment we are living through right now.

Participation is entirely voluntary and a matter of personal choice. We strongly encourage everyone to do their own research and engage only in the ways they believe are appropriate for them.

*A core principle behind all Indivisible events is a commitment to nonviolent action. We expect all participants to seek to de-escalate any potential confrontation with those who disagree with our values.*
