  • Defend Democracy – #ICEOUT Justice for Lorenzo and Johan

On Tuesday, July 7, Lorenzo Salgado Araujo was shot and killed by an ICE agent in Houston, Texas. He was a dad driving a work van with his crew when he was gunned down. Less than a week later, on July 13, ICE unleashed the same horrific tactics, fatally shooting 26-year-old Johan Sebastian Guerrero when they stopped his vehicle in Biddeford, Maine. His wife and toddler were forced to witness his murder.

Lorenzo and Johan were beloved members of their communities who were killed on their way to work, one to a job site, the other to start his day as a food delivery driver. Both killed by ICE agents spreading fear, sowing chaos and inflicting violence.

Stand up and join us at our peaceful protest to ask for Justice for Lorenzo and Johan and to remember all those who have been killed or harmed by ICE.

Together, we will demand accountability for the system that continues to operate with cruelty and impunity.

We hold our protests weekly. The issues might change but we are committed to peaceful protest, to Defend Democracy and to Celebrate 250 Years of No Kings in America!

Time to get active! Join us in exercising your First Amendment rights as our Founding Fathers intended! You will feel empowered and part of a community of guardians of democracy at our weekly events.

Daily we are witnessing an unprecedented dismantling of our democratic system. This president and his posse have created a world of chaos. We are experiencing attacks on our freedom of speech, civil rights, and right to vote. We are losing access to health care and social programs, and the future of our Social Security is in jeopardy.

We are being exposed to immense corruption in which the ultra-wealthy continue to increase their wealth and power while the workers suffer the consequences with higher costs and lower wages.

We have been entered into a WAR that has no end in sight, that was not needed nor wanted by anyone except this power-hungry administration.

Our immigrant neighbors, as well as U.S. citizens, continue to be victimized by inhumane and illegal actions of ICE.

And we must not forget or be silent about the contents of the Epstein Files. Let us remind the world that we demand justice for the survivors!

If any of these issues resonate with you, then come join our protest!

Let’s stop the insanity and corruption together!

We the People Have the Power to Defend Democracy!
