    ## Election Protection Scenario Workshop

Are you concerned about the security and safety of the upcoming elections? Duluth Indivisible has invited the Election Protection Network and the [Groundwork Institute](https://www.groundworkmn.org/) to help us with our election protection planning.

They will host a tabletop exercise, a facilitated, scenario-based session where we work through real-world election challenges together, first as a large group, then at individual tables so we can work through a lot of scenarios. Think of it as a fire drill for democracy.

In the tabletop exercise, we walk through realistic Election Day scenarios together, like voter intimidation, last-minute legal questions, rapid response calls, and we’ll work out our coordination before it’s ever needed. These scenarios have been created in consultation with the offices of Attorney General Keith Ellison and Secretary of State Steve Simon.

Come together and calm our worrying minds by thinking through concrete examples together in advance so if something untoward happens, we’re executing a plan, not trying to create and execute at the same time. It’s a long road from voter registration to election certification and for most of us it has operated in the background our whole voting lives. 2026 is different. Let’s be awake and ready.
