Please join us in bringing attention to the detainee’s hardships and the continuing issues from ICE detaining people based on their race. Many LEGAL visa holders, refugees and asylees, who are following the laws and doing what is required of them are being detained unlawfully!
Their families are struggling greatly to make ends meet and take care of their children, who in most cases are Americans.
Every Detainee represents a broken family!
We want to End ICE Detention at Miami Correctional Facility! Please help us shed light on their plight.
Join South INDY-visible and Indiana Organizing Project in lighting a candle and holding a vigil for these families. Come hear stories about how this is affecting Hoosiers. We will also be led in songs by the Southside-INDY Singing Resistance.
We will be in Old Town Greenwood in the green space next to the Greenwood Public Library Overflow Parking lot on the corner of South Madison Ave and Surina Way.
