When Ohio’s fracking boom began in 2011, Appalachian Ohio was promised jobs and prosperity. Instead the most-fracked counties in Ohio have experienced jobs and population loss. In this presentation, Save Ohio Parks discusses fracking’s negative effects on our health, clean air, fresh water, state parks and public lands, and democracy. We also discuss results for our climate.
