Join Indivisible Highlands and Beyond for our weekly Honk and Waves. We protest each Thursday, 4:30-5:30 pm, to build “social proof” for our anti-authoritarian/anti-Trump message – to provide community members with the “proof” that taking action and opposing the Trump regime is the right thing to do.
The focus of June’s protests will be on the urgent need to demand voting rights for all. “We are not going back. No Jim Crow 2.0!” Since June is Pride Month, please also create signs that connect Trump’s hateful, disenfranchising policies to their impact on the LGBTQ+ community.
June 4: The corner of Union St/Rt. 2 and Dupont Rd. (Park around the corner in the neighborhood on New Rd, near Hawkins and Sons.)
June 11: The intersection of N. Bancroft Parkway and Pennsylvania Ave. (Park on surrounding residential streets.)
June 18: Along Pennsylvania Avenue in front of Westminster Presbyterian Church, 1502 W. 13th St. (Park in the lot behind the church.)
