Every Thursday, Indivisible co-founders Ezra Levin and Leah Greenberg host a participatory conversation on the week’s news, the state of our democracy, and our plan to defeat the authoritarian threats we face.
Indivisible Palo Alto Plus and Blue Turn Indivisible, in collaboration with Swing Left, invite you to a **special in-person phone bank** aimed at helping us flip Congress this fall.
Our team will provide training, scripts, technology, and plenty of support. You’ll be making calls from laptop computers supplied by DVC. _No need to bring your own phone or laptop—just come ready to connect with voters!_
**We will also provide lunch (sandwiches and beverages)!** _Please RSVP so that we know how much food to order._
There’s something energizing about making calls alongside others. Whether you’re brand-new to phone-banking or a seasoned volunteer, _you’ll leave with new skills, new connections, and the satisfaction of helping strengthen our democracy._
Join us in person at the Democratic Volunteer Center (DVC) as we come together for a phone bank that will draw on Swing Left’s innovative Ground Truth method of connecting with voters. You and fellow Indivisible members will **gather as a community to learn, make calls, and support one another**.
Ground Truth is designed to help Democrats rebuild trust, win competitive races, and flip the House by changing how we engage with voters. _We’ll use deep listening as a tool to connect with all voters and to identify likely Democrat voters._
During this phone bank, we will …
– Call a broad cross-section of voters—not just people who already agree with us
– Gather valuable insights that campaigns can use to improve their messaging, outreach, and organizing.
– Build our personal ability to have meaningful, respectful conversations that bridge differences of opinion
– Identify voters for follow-up during the fall get-out-the-vote drive
**No experience is necessary!** If this is your first phone bank, don’t worry. Experienced volunteers will also be on hand to answer questions throughout the event.
