Greetings, everyone.
The Indivisible Crystal Lake “Postcard Writing Party Marathon” will take place on Saturday, September 19, 2026, from 9:30 AM to 4:30 PM at the Crystal Lake Public Library. During this event, Indivisible Crystal Lake will also focus on voter registration, checking registration status, and grassroots capacity building.
Capacity building entails getting away from our digital screens and coming together in a direct face-to-face setting as a community to grow our network, share helpful skills, and get organized. Our goal is to meet our neighbors, hear their stories, share information about our group, and build a strong, lasting foundation of community power.
Every person who joins in brings a unique perspective and strength, ensuring our community remains connected, resilient, and ready to stand up for one another. We will also have fun, interactive conversations as we pause throughout the day to connect.
