MAY MEETING POSTPONED TO JUNE 28th
Our ILVB May General Meeting, originally scheduled for Sunday, May 17th, has been postponed. Due to the demands of the upcoming primary election on May 19th, we are moving this session to our June General Meeting on Sunday, June 28th. We are excited to maintain our featured presentation by Megan Kocher of Rural Organizing, who will discuss the resistance and prevention of detention centers. Rural Organizing has developed strategic plans for residents to thwart facilities in designated counties and preparation strategies for counties not yet targeted.

Note: While we typically meet on the 3rd Sunday of every month (unless otherwise noted), we have moved the June date to the 28th to avoid a conflict with Father’s Day.
