Be sure to sign up for Mobilize texts.
This is our regular monthly meeting of Indivisible NWA – we meet on the third Saturday of every month **somewhere in Northwest Arkansas**.
Our special guest is **Katie Teague** with the U of A Division of Agriculture Cooperative Extension Service. She serves as County Extension Agent – Staff Chair in the Washington County office. This is the public education branch of the university whose mission is to strengthen agriculture, communities, and families by connecting trusted research to the adoption of best practices.
**Within the Cooperative Extension Service, our Public Policy Center helps Arkansans better understand the financial, social or policy implications of a proposed law by publishing unbiased, research-based fact sheets and educational programs on ballot issues. Our goals are to increase voter participation and help Arkansans feel confident in understanding what’s being asked at the polls so they can engage in the process.**
A core principle behind all Indivisible events is a commitment to nonviolent action. We expect all participants to seek to de-escalate any potential confrontation with those who disagree with our values.
