  • Indivisible San Mateo: No Kings Protest, March and Rally – Sat., March 28th

Indivisible San Mateo is taking to the streets again in a peaceful protest, march and rally against the Trump administration’s brutality, corruption, and abuse of power.

For No Kings on Saturday, March 28th, we’ll meet at 31st and El Camino at Hillsdale Mall at 11 a.m. We have three options: Those of us who want to protest on the street can do so and enjoy the cacophony of horn honking supporters as well as the inspiring music of The Freedom Strummers.

Those who want to march to Fitzgerald Field in Central Park can join us as we walk down El Camino and make a loud and visible show of force of people who believe in democracy, our Constitution, our Bill of Rights, the rule-of-law and NO KINGS!

For those who want to meet us at the rally in Fitzgerald Field in Central Park, you can do that too. We expect the marchers to start arriving at about 1 to 1:30 p.m. at which time we will have an on-going rally of chants, speakers, dancing and some exciting special amphibious guests.

WE THE PEOPLE CHOOSE DEMOCRACY – JOIN US!

We have the power and are claiming it together. No Thrones. No Crowns. No Kings.

What began in 2025 as a single day of defiance has become a sustained national resistance to tyranny, spreading from small towns to city centers and across every community determined to defend democracy. Our peaceful movement is bigger than ever.

When our families are under attack and costs are pushing people to the brink, silence is not an option. We will defend ourselves and our communities against this administration’s unjust and cruel acts of violence.

On March 28th, rise up, take to the streets, and say it loud: no thrones, no crowns, no kings. We’re not watching history happen—we’re making it. Join us.

*A core principle behind all No Kings events is a commitment to nonviolent action. We expect all participants to seek to de-escalate any potential confrontation with those who disagree with our values and to act lawfully at these events. Weapons of any kind, including those legally permitted, should not be brought to events.*
