The next No Kings Day is coming
The next No Kings Day will be different. Join the No Kings kickoff call this Thursday, 9/10 at 8pm ET/5pm PT to learn about the national day of voter participation being planned for this October.
In January, the US Department of Energy invited states to express their interest in hosting a nuclear energy lifecycle campus. Oklahoma applied to be a host and is now one of five finalists. The application repeatedly mentioned engaging members of the community in shaping the campus.
Let’s start learning, because WE WILL WANT TO ENGAGE!
Signing up is requested but not required. Those signing up will be sent the agenda in advance, and will have the opportunity to submit a question online.
While the meeting is in-person, the speakers will be joining us via Zoom. Attendees will be able to see and hear them on a TV screen but the speakers will only see and hear the person operating the computer. As a result, all questions must be submitted in writing so they can be read to the speakers. Those submitted online will be answered first. Attendees will have the opportunity to write down and submit a question and it will be answered if time allows.
