On the weekend of July 17-19, Indivisible PDX D3 will join people across the country to celebrate the life and legacy of Congressman John Lewis, a giant of the Civil Rights movement and the “conscience of the Congress” until his 2020 death.
Many of us know some of his lessons by heart: “Get in good trouble, necessary trouble, and help redeem the soul of America.”
**The Film Festival on Friday evening, July 17th, is a great opportunity to learn more.** We’ll be showing three films about John and issues close to his heart. We hope you will join us!

– 7:00 pm Movies begin
– Donations will be taken at the door. Suggested: $10, to help cover costs. Cash preferred.
– Refreshments will be available, also for a donation.
