This a local Indivisible event!
THE MAIN ITEM ON OUR AGENDA: a presentation by the LSRI Elections Team on the new Elections-related content on the LSRI website. That section is full of information and resources about voting, candidates, and election protection. We hope it will be an important tool in our work in the months leading up to the mid-terms.
The meeting will begin with brief reports from the various LSRI teams about their activities in the past few weeks. The Elections Team will also give a brief update on the Rapid Response Team that had its organizational meeting earlier in June.
Another important purpose of each of our monthly LSRI All-Member meetings is to give a warm welcome to people who are new to Lake Superior Region Indivisible, or just curious about it. Light snacks and a beverage will be available.
Indivisible has a bias towards action, and we’re hoping, at this meeting, to provide avenues for new folks to take on a more active role in LSRI.
We will wrap up with time at the end for socializing and for new friends to talk to various LSRI Team Leaders who are present.
