Concerned about the direction of our national government? Looking for ways to connect with others?
Additional Indivisible weekly happy hour begins this Monday, April 13. Join us at Lombardo’s Deli and Bistro!
As previewed at the Indivisible LT monthly meeting in March, a new, additional weekly happy hour time and location has been added to gather and to socialize over discounted* food and beverages.
Beginning at 4 p.m. this coming Monday, April 13, please join us at Lombardo’s Deli and Bistro, 211 W. James St., Lancaster, PA. Expect a casual dining experience with delicious, quality Italian food that’s convenient and fast. Beverage selections include cocktails and mocktails, beers on tap and in bottles/cans, and an assortment of red, white, and sparkling wines.
There is a private room indoors for us to socialize, and when weather allows, we may choose to gather outdoors in the courtyard. Either location provides an environment where we can gather, unwind and enjoy, all while getting to know each other as Indivisible members.
*Special discounted happy hour pricing is available until only 5 p.m., although we can stay as long as we want.
Please come to a happy hour for citizens concerned about what the current regime is doing to our country. It’s a safe space to come together and speak freely about what is going on in national, state and local politics.
Who can come? This is for everyone from the politically curious to the terminally plugged-in to have real conversations with your neighbors and maybe hatch some plans. As a casual neighborhood meet up, come as you are.
There will be information about ways to get involved in your community to both understand and resist the growing authoritarianism we see happening at a national level and how it affects us here.
Any change in location to be confirmed the day before by email.
This gathering is hosted by Indivisible Lancaster Together. We do more than organize rallies, vigils, marches, and protests–like facilitate casual conversation.
**A core principle behind all Indivisible events is a commitment to nonviolent action. We expect all participants to seek to de-escalate any potential confrontation with those who disagree with our values.**
