Stand in solidarity with Christians who proclaim Liberator Jesus, who lived and taught shalom, the peace that comes from justice. March 24 is the Tuesday prior to both No Kings 3 and the Christian Holy Week, which begins with Jesus riding not a war horse, but a donkey, to face a brutal empire. We will read newly written Stations of the Cross, walking with the One who walks with all who are gassed, lynched, and disappeared. We will then walk in silence a half mile to Park Square with signs proclaiming peace. This event follows the 55th consecutive Tuesday No Kings rally on Park Square, 4-5 pm.
