Meet at the intersection of Mexico Avenue (1700 South) and Colorado Blvd with your signs and energy! Park in the shopping centers on the SE or NW corners and simply show up between 12:00 and 2:00 pm. Join whomever is there.
Our plan is to host this event consistently every 2nd and 4th Saturdays for the foreseeable future.
This gathering is part of an effort to LINE Colorado Blvd with people standing against an authoritarian regime. We want to be visible to a variety of drivers. Imagine if people see protesters at intersections all the way from I-70 to Hampden Avenue!
As of this posting, there is an event at 8th Ave. and Colorado, as well.
Therefore, we are looking to expand and need block captains at other intersections! Alameda Ave and 17th Avenue would be great locations…..please offer to host!
