Dr. Ruben Martinez will discuss how—in his words—”neoliberalism hollowed out the manufacturing class (with a specific focus on Macomb County) and gave rise to the current state of right-wing authoritarianism in which we find ourselves today.”
How can we help get Democrats elected in the midterms? We’ll discuss:
Canvassing & Phonebanking – A conversation at the door or on the phone can really make a difference.
Becoming a Precinct Delegate – Precinct delegates are the foundation of the Democratic Party and many seats are currently empty—are you ready to fill one of them?
Birdie Nash will be speaking about her experience under Jim Crow laws.
