Share your good fortune with a contribution to neighbors experiencing food insecurity.
Visits to food pantries in Colorado are on the rise for a variety of reasons, from rising prices for food and other life necessities to job losses or health issues impacting their ability to work. The need for assistance has grown, and federal money is being diverted to other priorities. Even so, it is within our power to help.
We accept grocery and hygiene items and donate them to Integrated Family Community Services (IFCS), a local food pantry that has partnered with the community to alleviate hunger since 1964. Open daily, they supplement assistance that is available through the SNAP program.
IFCS welcomes ANY item you can find in a grocery store, provided those items are unopened with an expiration date in 2025 or later. Toiletries, feminine hygiene items, and diapers are appreciated (and cannot be bought through SNAP). Please don’t donate anything you wouldn’t offer as a gift to a neighbor, as these ARE our neighbors!
You can drop goods off in the Prince of Peace parking lot at 7000 South Windermere between 12:00 and 3:00 pm on Saturday, March 21st.
Not sure what to donate? Protein is important. Top ten items requested: 1. Pasta 2. Rice 3. Canned beans 4. Canned tomatoes 5. Mac and Cheese 6. Canned tuna/meat 7. Cereal 8. Peanut Butter 9. Jelly 10. Ramen
Please Note: We are NOT accepting financial contributions. If you can provide financial support, contact IFCS (ifcs.org), a food collection drive of your choice or donate through www.coloradogives.org
Thank you for caring!
