ICE may be shifting their tactics from mass incursions to more targeted approaches, but they’re still taking our neighbors with no respect for habeas corpus rights.
We assemble whistle kits, the early warning system for a neighborhood. Each kit contains an instructional zine, Know Your Rights documents in several languages, and a 3D-printed whistle. You choose the part of the kit you want to work on and change when/if you want.
Why whistles? Whistles provide a way to alert others to the possible presence of ICE, or to an actual detention. Once alerted, vulnerable people can take cover and allies can step forward to continue to sound the alarm and begin recording video of the situation.
