Please join us at our monthly in-person meeting in May! We will be having two speakers to inform us about how to help people in our community. The organization Hope for Neighbors supports people that are detained in Baldwin. They have many ways to get involved including: letter writing(can be in English), backpack clothes, visitations, rides, and more. We will receive the details about their work and how to get involved if you would like. Also, we will have a speaker from Second Harvest Food Pantry who will let us know how we can get food to help those neighbors that are in need because their family has been impacted by ICE and how to support their organization. We also will be sharing, networking, and connecting with others. Come and enjoy being around like-minded, friendly people. All are welcome!
*A core principle behind all Indivisible events is a commitment to nonviolent action. We expect all participants to seek to de-escalate any potential confrontation with those who disagree with our values.*
