  • Memorial Day Weekend Canvass: Honoring Through Community Connection

This Memorial Day weekend, we’re out in the neighborhood—not just to knock doors, but to honor the spirit of community by building real relationships.

As we reflect on service and sacrifice, we’re showing up by connecting with our neighbors—listening, learning, and inviting people into small neighborhood house gatherings. These are simple, powerful spaces where folks can share their experiences, concerns, and hopes for their community.

These are not traditional political events. They are listening sessions rooted in trust, respect, and real conversation.

    What to Expect
Quick training before we head out (no experience needed)
Pairing into teams (you won’t go alone)
    Script + materials provided
    Focus on conversation, not persuasion
    Volunteer Structure

We’re organizing 3 teams per shift (2 people per team)
➡️ Goal: At least 6 volunteers per shift

We’re Looking for Volunteers Who Are Ready To:
    Have meaningful, one-on-one conversations
    Listen more than they talk
Help identify neighbors interested in hosting or attending a house gathering

This Memorial Day, we honor by showing up—for each other, for our neighborhoods, and for the kind of community we want to build.

This is how we build power—neighbor to neighbor.
