  • Movie and A Message – SPECIAL NATIONAL INDIVISIBLE EVENT on Cryptocurrency

Next in our Movie with a Message series is a documentary called “Everyone is Lying to you for Money”. This is a national Indivisible Special Event. Intrigued?

Do you find CryptoCurrency as hard to understand as we do? That is how the Crypto Bros want it to be: confusing and seemingly incomprehensible. Is there fraud involved? Almost definitely. Is there corruption involved? You’d better believe it.
Why is it so confusing? Because it is designed to sell you an illusion.
Reportedly, our president is involved in the corruption and is making a killing in the crypto-market…..at our expense if we fall for the illusion.

The House of Representatives has passed legislation called The Clarity Act – which clarifies nothing. It really legitimizes the scam and destabilizes our banking system. The Clarity Act may be to CryptoCurrency what the Save Act is to our elections in that neither benefits “regular citizens”.

Come to see Ben McKenzie, an actor, NYT best-selling author and filmmaker with a degree in economics, explain CryptoCurrency in an understandable, humorous, and fast-paced documentary so we can stop legislation that is beginning to move through the Senate.

This will be your only opportunity to see McKenzie’s highly entertaining film! He is making it available as a national event for Indivisible audiences to help educate us to wage war on The Clarity Act.
To stop this legislation we need to understand what we’re fighting against and why. If it passes it will hugely hurt everyone of us, and our country, economically.

Good food and drink is available for purchase in this democracy-loving restaurant!

*A core principle behind all Desert Democracy events is a commitment to nonviolent action. We expect all participants to seek to de-escalate any potential confrontation with those who disagree with our values and to act lawfully at these events. Weapons of any kind, including those legally permitted, should not be brought to events.*
