Join Camel City United Indivisible for National Voter Education Week, October 5–9, as we help Winston-Salem voters get ready to cast their ballots with confidence.
All week long, we’ll be at two locations directly across the street from one another on West Fourth Street — Washington Perk & Provisions at 301 W. Fourth Street and Camino Bakery at 310 W. Fourth Street.
National Voter Education Week is a nonpartisan voter education campaign designed to help voters bridge the gap between registering to vote and actually casting their ballot.
We’ll help our neighbors:
✓ REGISTER TO VOTE
Register, check their voter registration, and make sure their information is current.
✓ GET TO KNOW THEIR BALLOT
Learn what’s on the ballot before they vote so they can cast their ballot with confidence.
✓ MAKE A PLAN TO VOTE
Decide when, where, and how they’ll vote and learn about their voting options.
✓ UNDERSTAND THE PROCESS
Learn how voting works, understand important voting requirements, and know where to turn with questions or problems.
✓ SHARE WITH FRIENDS & FAMILY
Take what they’ve learned and help friends, family members, and neighbors get #VoteReady too.
Volunteer for one two-hour shift—or join us for as many shifts as you’d like. No experience is necessary. We’ll provide the voter education materials and everything you need.
People are more likely to vote when someone they trust asks them to vote. Be that trusted messenger.
