For the foreseeable future Indivisible Clinton County will be hosting monthly candle light vigils on the last Friday of the month to show our solidarity with our immigrant neighbors and their friends and families,
Please join us as we peacefully gather. LED candles will be provided or you can bring your own candle if you prefer. Please keep in mind these events are to show our support for the victims of these unlawful, cruel, and inhumane acts that this administrations policies and departments have caused.
With this in mind, please try to keep signs focused on encouraging words for our neighbors instead of attacks against ICE. They’ve had enough attention, now it’s time for us to light up the night to show the way forward to a better tomorrow. Let’s make sure our neighbors know they are welcome here, regardless of their “status”.
