    Join us in saying NO ICE CAMPS in Oregon!

    The community of Newport has worked hard to push back against the Federal Government’s attempts to build an ICE Detention Center at the Newport Municipal Airport. Those efforts have resulted in a statement that “ICE has no plan or intention to begin construction or open an ICE facility in the City of Newport or at Newport Municipal between now and until May 1, 2026,”

    Let’s help our friends in Newport tell DHS resolutely NO ICE CAMP HERE. Not now, not after May 1st, NOT EVER.

    The first state-wide protest is Sat., March 14th. Join Coburg at 12 pm in front of Coburg City Hall for a peaceful protest.

    A second protest will be held in April (date TBD.)
