**We have the power and are claiming it together. No Thrones. No Crowns. No Kings.**

What began in 2025 as a single day of defiance has become a sustained national resistance to tyranny, spreading from small towns to city centers and across every community determined to defend democracy. Our peaceful movement is bigger than ever.

When our families are under attack and costs are pushing people to the brink, silence is not an option. We will defend ourselves and our communities against this administration’s unjust and cruel acts of violence.

On March 28th, rise up, take to the streets, and say it loud: no thrones, no crowns, no kings. We’re not watching history happen—we’re making it.

Come join Indivisible East Contra Costa County, Rage for Democracy and Marsh Creek Democratic Club in the activities we have planned for NO KINGs Day on March 28. It will take ALL of us to stop fascism in our country.

We have multiple events planned for East County on 3/28. The event you are reading about now is for an afternoon protest, following a Rally/March in the morning of 3/28 in Antioch. Each of our events has its own sign-up in Mobilize.us. Following is a list of all of our events:

    1. ANTIOCH – Rally and March along Lone Tree Way 10:30 AM – 12:30-ish
    2. ANTIOCH – Protest at the intersection of Lone Tree Way and Hillcrest 1:30-4:00. This is the end point of the march.
    3. Oakley – Protest at the intersection of Vintage Parkway and Main St..
    4. BRENTWOOD
    – Brentwood Pedestrian Bridge over Highway 4
    – Intersection of Heidorn Ranch Rd and Lone Tree Plaza (this is the entrance to Costco from Heidorn Ranch Rd.
    5. PITTSBURG – Railroad Ave. Overpass
***Please search Mobilize.us for these events and sign-up for one.

Feel free to dress in patriotic attire or in a costume. Bring Flags and Signs and lots of ENTHUSIASM!! This intersection is the end point of the march. So if you want, you can proceed to protest at this intersection immediately, or you can pause for a break and a bite to eat and proceed to another location.

We encourage you to participate in two of our activities, beginning with the Rally and March in Antioch in the morning and followed by one of the protests scheduled in Antioch, Oakley, Brentwood or Pittsburg. Or if time is an issue, select one.

As you know, all of our activities planned for East County are in conjunction with similar activities all across the country. Let’s do our part in making NO KINGS Day on 3/28 the largest protest turnout EVER in the USA and in East County. Let’s help to get to 12 Million people!!!!

*A core principle behind all No Kings events is a commitment to nonviolent action. We expect all participants to seek to de-escalate any potential confrontation with those who disagree with our values and to act lawfully at these events. Weapons of any kind, including those legally permitted, should not be brought to events.*
