Hundreds of nonviolent protests are already planned for No Kings Day on March 28, and more are being added by the hour.

What began in 2025 as a single day of defiance has become a sustained national resistance to tyranny, spreading from small towns to city centers and across every community determined to defend democracy. Our peaceful movement is bigger than ever.
When our families are under attack and costs are pushing people to the brink, silence is not an option. We will defend ourselves and our communities against this administration’s unjust and cruel acts of violence.
On March 28th, rise up, take to the streets, and say it loud: no thrones, no crowns, no kings. We’re not watching history happen—we’re making it. Join us.
DUELING VISIBILITY BRIGADES! Join us on the pedestrian bridge over EITHER Rt-50 or Rt-197 in Bowie from 12-2pm. Signs are welcome on the 197 bridge and along Rt-197. Please do not bring signs to the Rt-50 bridge (hand-made signs are not visible from the roadway). Flags and inflatables welcome on both bridges.
Parking is the same from either location – at the old movie theater near the Hampton Inn across from Bowie Town Center.
Accessibility – paved paths both locations. 4 minute walk to Rt-50 bridge. No bathrooms on site but plenty of businesses in area.
