The No Kings Map is Live!
Hundreds of nonviolent protests are already planned for No Kings Day on March 28, and more are being added by the hour.
On March 28th, rise up, take to the streets, and say it loud: no thrones, no crowns, no kings. We’re not watching history happen—we’re making it.
Join Champlain Valley Indivisible on the Patchen Road overpass in South Burlington (at Landfill Rd) to stand up and speak out against this administration’s unjust and cruel acts of violence.
We’ll be unfurling our huge NO KINGS banners on the overpass as 4,000 – 5,000 vehicles per hours pass below on Interstate 89.
Bring a sign, bring an American flag, and bring a friend. Our peaceful, patriotic movement is growing.
Practical Information:
• If you plan to join us, PLEASE REGISTER. It allows us to get in touch with you if we need to change plans due to high winds.
• Follow the guidance of safety marshals wearing orange or yellow vests.
• Parking is tight. Please carpool. There is parking on the shoulder of Patchen Road, and on Landfill Rd at the South Burlington Public Works Department.
IMPORTANT: No banners are allowed to hang on the outside of the overpass fence or railing.
The safety and success of this event is up to all of us. Look out for one another.
**We have the power and are claiming it together. No Thrones. No Crowns. No Kings.**
*A core principle behind all No Kings events is a commitment to nonviolent action. We expect all participants to seek to de-escalate any potential confrontation with those who disagree with our values and to act lawfully at these events. Weapons of any kind, including those legally permitted, should not be brought to events.*
