  • NO KINGS Street Fest (Palo Alto)

*Music! Protest! Community!* Join us for a street festival on No Kings Day where together we will lift our spirits and claim our power. We will sing and dance. We will raise our signs—and our voices. We will connect with our neighbors. In defiance of the kingly pretensions of Donald Trump and his authoritarian regime, we will celebrate our rights as democratic citizens.

Make your way on March 28 to El Camino Real in Palo Alto.

Bring protest signs and wave to passing cars

Listen to local bands and join a “resistance rock” singalong

Visit activity areas devoted to celebrating our freedoms

What began in 2025 as a single day of defiance has become a sustained national resistance to tyranny, spreading from small towns to city centers and across every community in America (and beyond). On March 28—the third No Kings Day—rise up, take to the streets, and say it loud: No thrones. No crowns. No kings.

El Camino Real is also known as “the King’s Highway.” But on this day, thousands of us will turn the street into the No Kings Highway.

Street Fest activities will take place on El Camino Real from Embarcadero Road to California Avenue between 2:00 PM and 4:00 PM. Sidewalk protest will be welcome in that area, and across all of El Camino. Bring your best sign! Wear a costume!

Come together and celebrate American freedom—the freedom to say:

    No to ICE brutality

    No to deportation camps

    No to mass surveillance

    No to voter suppression

    No to Epstein Class predators

No to attacks on science, education, and healthcare

The No Kings Street Fest in Palo Alto is part of Peninsula Out in Force, a multi-group effort to rally people across the San Francisco Peninsula—from Sunnyvale up to San Mateo—in a celebration of American freedom and a rejection of MAGA tyranny. In many cities and over many miles, Peninsula residents will be convening on El Camino Real between 2:00 PM and 4:00 PM.

Organized by Indivisible Palo Alto Plus and It’s Blue Turn.

*A core principle behind all No Kings events is a commitment to nonviolent action. We expect all participants to seek to de-escalate any potential confrontation with those who disagree with our values and to act lawfully at these events. Weapons of any kind, including those legally permitted, should not be brought to events.*
