The No Kings Map is Live!
Hundreds of nonviolent protests are already planned for No Kings Day on March 28, and more are being added by the hour.
**We have the power and are claiming it together. No Thrones. No Crowns. No Kings.**
What began in 2025 as a single day of defiance has become a sustained national resistance to tyranny, spreading from small towns to city centers and across every community determined to defend democracy. Our peaceful movement is bigger than ever.
When our families are under attack and costs are pushing people to the brink, silence is not an option. We will defend ourselves and our communities against this administration’s unjust and cruel acts of violence.
On March 28th, rise up, take to the streets, and say it loud: no thrones, no crowns, no kings. We’re not watching history happen—we’re making it.
Come join us (Indivisible East Contra Costa County, Rage for Democracy, Marsh Creek Democratic Club) in the activities we have planned for NO Kings day. We need all of you to influence change in our country and to put a stop to fascism!
We have planned 5 activities around the eastern part of our county. All are listed separately on Mobilize.us. This post you are now reading is for the Pittsburg location. The other 4 events are:
1. Antioch Rally/March at 10:30 AM
2. Antioch Protest at 1:30 PM
3. Oakley Protest at 1:30 PM
4. Brentwood Protest at 1:30 PM
Please do a search on Mobilize for any of these events you want to attend and sign-up.
The Pittsburg protest will be held on the Railroad Ave Overpass. Indivisible will post large signs on the bridge for vehicles passing beneath the bridge. Protesters can gather at the intersections on both ends of the overpass, as well as along the sidewalk on the western side of the overpass itself. Please feel free to dress in patriotic attire or in costumes. Bring signs, flags and lots of enthusiasm. We ask you not to engage in verbal arguments with passengers in cars passing by. This protest needs to remain peaceful. We DO NO want to give the Federal Government a reason to send in the National Guard. We will have safety personnel posted at all of our locations. They will be wearing neon yellow safety vests. Please respect them and utilize them if any confrontations occur. Let’s keep everyone SAFE.
Help us reach our goal of 12 Million protestors on NO KINGS Day. Let’s make this the largest protest turnout EVER in US history and in East Contra Costa County as well. Make your voices heard! I hope to see you at one of our events!
*A core principle behind all No Kings events is a commitment to nonviolent action. We expect all participants to seek to de-escalate any potential confrontation with those who disagree with our values and to act lawfully at these events. Weapons of any kind, including those legally permitted, should not be brought to events.*
