On March 28th, rise up, take to the streets, and say it loud: no thrones, no crowns, no kings. We’re not watching history happen—we’re making it.
Join Champlain Valley Indivisible at the intersection of Shelburne Rd and Hannaford Drive in South Burlington to stand up and speak out against this administration’s unjust and cruel acts of violence.
Bring a sign, bring an American flag, and bring a friend. Our peaceful, patriotic movement is growing.
Our neighbors are under attack and rising costs are pushing people to the brink. Silence is not an option. We will reclaim the promise of the Constitution and the rule of law.
Practical Information:
• If you plan to join us, PLEASE REGISTER. It allows us to communicate any changes.
• Follow the guidance of safety marshals wearing orange or yellow vests.
• We are saving 25 spots in front of Burger King (as well as nearby parking) for people with limited mobility.
• Parking will be tight. Please carpool, and consider parking at a slight distance and walking to the event.
• Spread out. Leave 2 – 3 feet between you and the person on either side. Spreading out lets people in passing cars read our signs more clearly, we are a more impressive presence, and it allows us to see oncoming vehicles.
The safety and success of this event is up to all of us. Look out for one another.
**We have the power and are claiming it together. No Thrones. No Crowns. No Kings.**
*A core principle behind all No Kings events is a commitment to nonviolent action. We expect all participants to seek to de-escalate any potential confrontation with those who disagree with our values and to act lawfully at these events. Weapons of any kind, including those legally permitted, should not be brought to events.*
