NO KINGS: VOTE EARLY COMMUNITY EVENT & RALLY
Saturday, October 17 | 2:00–4:00 PM
St. Cloud Library
Join us in St. Cloud for our No Kings: Vote Early Community Event!
Early voting in Minnesota began September 18, and we need to get the word out: You don’t have to wait until Election Day to make your voice heard. You can vote now!
This event is about more than showing up. It’s about spreading the word! Gear your signs towards getting out the word . Many Minnesotans don’t realize that they can vote now! It’s about making sure our community is informed, registered, and ready to vote. Gear your signs towards getting out the word!
We’ll have voter registration tables staffed by volunteers who can help you check your registration. If you’re not, they can help you register. They’ll also be information on where to cast your ballot.
There are so many ways you can help—talk to friends and neighbors about voting, help someone get registered, give someone a ride to vote, or volunteer to help us reach more people in our community.
Bring your friends. Bring your family. Bring your neighbors. Come check your registration, learn how to vote early, and find a way to get involved.
WE THE PEOPLE HOLD THE POWER. LET’S USE IT!
This is a peaceful, family-friendly event.
**We decide who represents us. We decide what comes next.**
For more than a year, millions of people have come together to reject the idea that power belongs to kings, billionaires, or politicians who believe they are above the people and the law.
Now, we are taking the next step, turning people power into voter power. Unlike previous No Kings actions, No Kings: Vote Early, is not purely a protest. Instead, on October 17th, it’s a day of nonpartisan voter participation: we are bringing **our community** together to make a plan to vote early and ensuring every eligible voter understands their options for how to vote and has the opportunity to make their voice heard.
Because no one person gets to decide our leaders before voters do. On October 17th, join us in local events across the country as we get out the early vote and say it loud: no thrones, no crowns, no kings.
*No Kings: Vote Early events are nonpartisan and are designed to increase participation from all eligible voters.*
*A core principle behind all No Kings events is a commitment to nonviolent action. We expect all participants to seek to de-escalate any potential confrontation with those who disagree with our values and to act lawfully at these events. Weapons of any kind, including those legally permitted, should not be brought to events.*
