**We have the power and are claiming it together. No Thrones. No Crowns. No Kings.**

On March 28th, rise up, take to the streets, and say it loud: no thrones, no crowns, no kings. We’re not watching history happen—we’re making it. Join us.

*A core principle behind all No Kings events is a commitment to nonviolent action. We expect all participants to seek to de-escalate any potential confrontation with those who disagree with our values and to act lawfully at these events. Weapons of any kind, including those legally permitted, should not be brought to events.*

This is a PEACEFUL protest. The format is a “honk-and-wave” at an area at the corners of Main Street and Route 227 in Trumansburg with fairly busy traffic.

How to Prepare for Your Event: Bring your own sign or use one of ours. Make your message visible to cars driving by! (A few ideas: “NO KINGS IN AMERICA!”, “THE PEOPLE UNITED”, “NO KINGS, NO TYRANTS”, “DEFEND DEMOCRACY”, “PROTECT OUR CONSTITUTION” “RULE OF LAW”, “NO SECRET POLICE”, “ABOLISH ICE”, “END ICE TERROR”, “FREE SPEECH”, “FREE AND FAIR ELECTIONS”, “STOP CENSORSHIP”, “FREEDOM FOR ALL”, “RESPECT IMMIGRANTS”, “NO KINGS, ALL EQUAL”, “NO RACISM”, “DEMOCRACY IS DIVERSE”, “DEI IS NO THREAT. WHITE SUPREMACY IS”…) Signs that are visible from two directions, with short phrases and lettering visible to cars driving by, work well in this context. Please omit profanity or hateful speech. Not only might some children be in the area, but it is also important for signs to invite more public support rather than discourage it. Parking is available at Farmers Market across the street. Please dress for the weather. ✅ Recruit friends → The more people, the more power.

Note: Related Trumansburg No Kings community activities will be scheduled for the same day before the Honk & Wave. Watch for posters around Trumansburg.
