On March 28th, rise up, take to the streets, and say it loud: no thrones, no crowns, no kings. We’re not watching history happen—we’re making it.
The Minnesota No Kings coalition of Indivisible Twin Cities, MN AFL-CIO, MN 50501,Women’s March Minnesota, Immigrant Defense Network, and Reviving the Islamic Sisterhood for Empowerment, is proud to be working with the national No Kings coalition to host the flagship No Kings Twin Cities on March 28th!
This event will highlight the amazing efforts of the people of the state and of the Twin Cities as we resisted Operation Metro Surge by saying loudly ICE Out of Minnesota!
What began in 2025 as a single day of defiance has become a sustained national resistance to tyranny, spreading from small towns to city centers and across every community determined to defend democracy. Our peaceful movement is bigger than ever.
This event will be a day of healing for those who’ve seen violence. A day of celebration for the lives of those we’ve lost. A day of happiness despite all of the attempts to break us.
For this national flagship event, participants can choose among three kickoff marches. (Those who prefer not to march can go directly to the Capitol). Each of the three kickoff locations will feature a short program starting at noon (with music as we gather), followed by a march to the Capitol.

A core principle behind all No Kings events is a commitment to nonviolent action. Weapons of any kind, including those legally permitted, should not be brought to events.
