🚫👑📢 Please join us as we rally the community, to gather and recall the histories and significance of our voting rights, stand up to those who wish to rule over us, call out the injustices around us, organize to bring power back to the people, and help everyone remember to **vote early!**
👀🗳️ Sign up to be a poll worker or find other ways, locally, to help protect the polls!
💪☮️ Please keep in mind that this will be a themed, non-partisan rally (we immensely encourage you all to resist divisiveness and practice nonviolence together)!
🙏💕 We would also highly appreciate it your signs and “gear” match the theme of getting the vote out early and nonpartisan, or no kings, related frustrations and concerns. Personally, I look forward to everyone’s creativity on this, I’m excited and we hope you are too!
‼️💡It is a good idea to bring your own chair (or picnic blanket) if you’d like a spot to rest or sit. Sun umbrellas, hats, lotion and regular hydration are all encouraged!! The grass may be difficult to walk on for some people.
🚻🧻 The library down the block has public restrooms; We are also located next to carls jr, taco bell, and starbucks (please make a purchase if using their bathroom)!
‼️🚑😷🤧 If you are feeling ill, feverish, or light-headed at all, please skip this event for your own safety and others’, and then come to a future local event soon, or stop by the next Galt’s Pints & Politics to learn about more events and opportunities near you! (Poll working and other poll protection opportunities are out there, also!)
🪧🚦If we have the shade and the stamina, let’s be on all corners of the intersection, and do mini-marches to and fro, legally!! (obey traffic laws and leave space for people to pass by on the sidewalk, safely)
We are all so excited to meet and rally with you!! Please stay safe and remain informed out there!! Let’s work together to keep the polls safe and get everyone out to vote! 🗳️

## And last, but not least, a message from our awesome sponsor…
**We decide who represents us. We decide what comes next.**
For more than a year, millions of people have come together to reject the idea that power belongs to kings, billionaires, or politicians who believe they are above the people and the law.
Now, we are taking the next step, turning people power into voter power. Unlike previous No Kings actions, No Kings: Vote Early, is not purely a protest. Instead, on October 17th, it’s a day of nonpartisan voter participation: we are bringing **our community** together to make a plan to vote early and ensuring every eligible voter understands their options for how to vote and has the opportunity to make their voice heard.
Because no one person gets to decide our leaders before voters do. On October 17th, join us in local events across the country as we get out the early vote and say it loud: no thrones, no crowns, no kings.
*No Kings: Vote Early events are nonpartisan and are designed to increase participation from all eligible voters.*
*A core principle behind all No Kings events is a commitment to nonviolent action. We expect all participants to seek to de-escalate any potential confrontation with those who disagree with our values and to act lawfully at these events. Weapons of any kind, including those legally permitted, should not be brought to events.*
## Thank you!!
