  • NO KINGS Washington, DC

Donald Trump might be the one in office, but Stephen Miller is the power behind the throne. Stephen Miller is the one directing ICE’s attacks across the country. Stephen Miller is the one running the effort to take over DC. He has stoked white nationalist bigotry and hate, and he is amassing power but has no accountability.

Miller is carrying out this agenda while living comfortably right here in our community, at Fort McNair in Southwest DC. On March 28, we’re going to make it clear we want Miller out of DC and out of power — and we’ll be taking this message directly to his doorstep.

On March 28, join us to make it clear that No Kings means #FireStephenMiller. Rally with us starting at 1:30 PM on the southeast side of the Frederick Douglass Bridge and then march with us past Fort McNair where Miller is living. We’ll end at the Waterfront Metro with next steps for how everyone can take action to get #ICEout, #EndTheOccupation, and #FreeDC.

    Starting Point:
Meet us starting at 1:30 PM on the southeast side of the Frederick Douglass Bridge. The closest Metro station is Anacostia on the Yellow and Green Line. The event start point is an 8-minute walk from the metro station. We strongly encourage riding Metro to this event. Street parking is available in the surrounding neighborhood.

    Accessibility:
This event will include approximately 1 hour of standing and 1 hour of walking. The rally location and march route include zero steps. Individuals using wheelchairs and assistive devices should follow directions from event marshals at one section of the march route where pavement is uneven. ASL interpretation will be provided from the stage during the rally remarks.

*A core principle behind all No Kings events is a commitment to nonviolent action. We expect all participants to seek to de-escalate any potential confrontation with those who disagree with our values and to act lawfully at these events. Weapons of any kind, including those legally permitted, should not be brought to events.*
